Glenn Szlagowski is a retired Financial Advisor who had worked for Ross Dixon Financial Services in the early 1990's. Two of their employees - Leigh Hogg and Don Ridley formed a partnership and formed an independent investment firm called Belmont Village Financial Group. Glenn Joined the new firm and retired in 2017.
Belmont Village Financial Group was one of the very early pioneers of the Canadian GIC deposit industry with roots going back to the late 1970's. In fact, the founder, Ross Dixon laid claim that the Canadian GIC deposit industry was actually invented in Kitchener, Ontario.
